About Us

CrewParent Live was created with families of crew members in mind. Our company’s name merges the crew and the parent staying at home, in a reflection of the challenges of staying involved in the parenting role at home while trying to keep the family involved in their role as a crewmember. CPL co-founder, Will Mooney, approached his college best friend, CPL co-founder Paul Brocato, about creating an app that can tailor crew schedules to keep our families informed without utilizing multiple existing applications to try to piece together a schedule and a plan.

Will and Paul met on the first day of orientation at Vanderbilt University in 2000. After graduation, Will commissioned in the US Navy embarking upon an over 22 year flying career. He has been flying for a major airline for over 11 years and is currently a 737 Captain.

Paul has always been interested in software and technology and his personality lends itself to a very successful sales role. The son of a retired American Airlines pilot, Paul has spent the last 22 years in software sales finding tremendous success in the medical analytics field while also remembering the challenges of having a pilot dad as he grew up. He is currently a director with a worldwide pharmaceutical company focusing on emerging software technologies.
